About ZOOM! Data Source

Before ZOOM! Data Source, even the most well-intended schools did not have clean, accurate ways to collect, manage, and use multiple types of student data to inform instruction and school design. Through ZOOM! Data Source, schools gain affordable access to the online data management tool DataDirector™, customized technical and implementation support, and comprehensive in-person and web-based professional development.

ZOOM! Program Evaluation

A two-year evaluation study (2008-2010) of the CCSA's implementation of the ZOOM! Data Source Program has been released. The study was conducted by the Institute at Indian Hill, at Claremont Graduate University, and sought to answer four important research questions regarding the value, implementation, effectiveness, and impact of the program. The IIH report found that,

"Overall, the ZOOM Data Source Program results indicate that the program holds significant potential for affecting school practices and data use which positively enhance the data culture and thereby result in improved student achievement" (IIH Report, p7).

Designed to orient new ZOOM! schools to the functionalities of our technology tool, DataDirectorTM. These trainings are targeted to new users, but existing ZOOM! schools are welcome to join when space allows.
