About the California Charter Building Fund
In partnership with NCB Capital Impact and supported by a federal Department of Education credit enhancement grant, the California Charter Schools Association has built a $100 million California Charter Building Fund for charter schools seeking facilities loans.
Whether you are looking to purchase land, build a charter school from the ground up or make renovations to an owned or leased facility, look to CCSA to help provide you with the resources to launch your project successfully. The California Charter Building Fund can help finance difficult projects including those that involve state bond money, Proposition 39 sites and/or leased property.
Benefits of using the California Charter Building Fund include:
- Below-market interest rates on your loan
- Lenders who understand the unique challenges facing California charter schools
- Facilities and finance technical assistance from CCSA
Despite the current economic downturn, the California Charter Building Fund has supported more than $100 million in charter school facility financing in just three years.
