• CCSA Statement on Race to the Top

   

  Jed Wallace, President and CEO of the California Charter Schools Association (CCSA), released the following statement today regarding the federal government's decision not to award California a Race to the Top school-reform grant.

• CCSA Applauds Federal Government Extension of Charter Schools Program and Selection of California as Race to the Top Finalist

   

  The Federal government announced today that California is one of 18 finalists in Race to the Top Phase Two, as well as the approval of the Charter School Program renewal, which assists charter schools across the state with start-up cost. CCSA has worked diligently on both issues, and is excited for these steps forward.
