Rocketship and KIPP Charter Schools Approved in Redwood City

On June 25, after two years of working to bring new charter school options to their community, parents celebrated the approval of two new charter schools by the Redwood CIty School Board. The school board unanimously voted to allow Rocketship Education and KIPP Bay Area Schools to establish new charter schools, which together expect to enroll 1,500 students.
