Connect Community Charter School was launched by a team of committed parents and educators who wanted to bring a new school model to the families of Redwood City. They spent several years developing the concept for the school, which would ultimately emphasize hands-on learning, self-management skills and empathy, and connections between students, teachers, parents, and the broader community. They worked closely with CCSA as Developer Members and after overcoming several obstacles, the school opened in fall 2013.
