At Aspire Public Schools, students start preparing for college from day one of kindergarten. "College for Certain" isn't just a motto; it's at the heart of Aspire's mission, says Roberta Benjamin, Los Angeles Superintendent and a former Los Angeles Unified School District administrator. Aspire currently has 11 schools in South Gate, South Los Angeles and Huntington Park.

"The work at Aspire is so fulfilling," said Benjamin.
