On September 7, 2011, Synergy Academies welcomed close to 400 students to their brand new high school, Synergy Quantum Academy. Continuing the Synergy tradition of partnering with the Los Angeles Unified School District, Synergy Quantum Academy is co-located with two LAUSD high schools on the Central Region High School #16 campus in South Los Angeles.

As part of Synergy Academies' co-location partnership with LAUSD, the three schools located on CRHS #16 will share after-school sports activities, with any student able to try out for the campus-wide basketball, track, soccer, and volleyball teams. In fall 2012, the campus will add a football team. Synergy Quantum's staff will work closely with their LAUSD partners to continue to strengthen this innovative partnership.

Synergy Quantum Academy is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) focused school. Through participation in STEM-related activities, Synergy students will learn the incredible opportunities that await students who choose to study STEM subjects in college.
