It is time to start planning for the 18th Annual California Charter Schools Conference, the premier networking and professional development event for leaders, teachers, and supporters of the state's charter schools. The event will be held March 7-10, 2011, at the San Diego Convention Center. Our theme for 2011 will be "The Future of California Public Education.''

Call for Presentations

CCSA rebuilds the conference program each year through a "Call for Presentations" for breakout sessions. The Call for Presentations is now available online at www.charterconference.org. We are looking for the best proposals in all areas impacting charter schools, including increasing student achievement, charter school operations, facilities, budget & finance, governance, developing new charter schools, independent study and special education. In addition, we are introducing new programming this year focused on technology and online learning. The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, October 8, 2010.

Hart Vision Nominations

The annual Hart Vision Awards recognize excellence in the California charter school movement. Please nominate a deserving teacher or school volunteer today! The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, October 15, 2010.
