The California Charter Schools Association (CCSA) held its 17th Annual Conference at the Sacramento Convention Center from March 1 to March 4, 2010.

The Conference was host to some 2,300 teachers, principals and leaders in the growing charter community from across the state, and focused on a variety of issues, as well as challenges charter schools face, such as accountability, adequate facilities, and budget deficits.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dr. Caroline Hoxby, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, and Dr. Don Shalvey, from The Gates Foundation were featured as speakers in 2010. In addition, the annual Hart Vision Awards, which recognize the most outstanding charter schools, educators, and leaders, were awarded.
