CCSA’s overarching strategy is to leverage the collective advocacy power of the growing charter school movement to achieve four primary objectives: growing new charter schools, strengthening existing charter schools, ensuring accountability, and sustaining the Association.
Staff
Jed Wallace serves as the President and CEO of the California Charter Schools Association.
The Executive Team provides senior leadership at CCSA. Their responsibilities include setting long-term strategy, monitoring performance and overseeing day-to-day functions.
CCSA staff have a depth and breadth of experience from the education, business and nonprofit communities.
Board of Directors
Made up of charter schools and charter management organization leaders, as well as education advocates and representatives of charitable foundations, the Board of Directors broadly formulates CCSA’s policy and activities.
Member Council
The Member Council is a body of charter leaders that represents the voice of the members to CCSA’s Board and staff.
